Shandon Bells Cask Aged Irish Whiskey
Affectionately known as “The Four-Faced Lair,” St. Anne’s Church, Shandon (built in 1722), is one of the most iconic images of Cork City. Due to wind and mechanical pressure, the times shown on the four faces are seldom in full agreement.
Shandon Bells is a blend of malted and unmalted Irish Whiskey, matured in European Oak Sherry Casks and American Oak Bourbon Casks. The Bourbon Cask is evident in the nose and palate, and the Sherry Cask imparts a subtle lingering sweetness. This is a beautiful whiskey best appreciated with time.
