Whiskey Tasting Packages
Silver Tasting €25
Silver is your hands-on introduction to Irish whiskey’s essentials, gins and liquers. You will dive into the heart of our whiskey line with three flagship expressions, tasting them side by side, using nosing glasses and water pipettes to see how dilution and vessel shape taste, aroma and mouthfeel. By the end, you will be able to pick out the core characteristics that define Irish whiskey at its purest: smoothness, fruitiness, and gentle spice.
Gold Tasting €35
Gold is your first step on a lifelong journey into the world of Irish whiskey. You will taste our Core offering, plus a fourth specially selected release. You will learn the art and science of cask selection: why distillers pick certain finishes to shape spirit character.
Platinum Tasting €40
Platinum is your ultimate deep dive in St. Patrick’s best-kept secrets. From Malting, to Distillation and Aging techniques, you will undertake a voyage that will take you to compare five whiskeys and their own unique characters and notes. Whether your lips meet our rare Peated Single Malt or our 12 Year Old Port Finish, you will remember every nuance long after the final sip.
HOW TO FIND US
Just hop on one of the buses from the city centre.
You can take Bus No. 206 (Red on the map) or 207 (Yellow on the map) in Cork City Centre. The bus stops are very close to the English Market or THE “Oliver Plunkett Pub”
It takes only 15 minutes to reach us, and buses arrive every 15 minutes (206) or every 30 minutes (207).
Get off at the bus stop by Douglas Shopping Centre (Tesco), and it’s only a 5-minute walk (blue line) to our tasting room, which is opposite “On The Pig’s Back” restaurant.
